Curt has been active as a consultant to churches since 1980, helping them solve their audio problems, designing sound systems and acoustics, video projection and theatrical lighting systems, advising them on equipment purchases, and providing training for their technical ministry teams.
Curt and his wife, Jeanna, are the founders of ChurchSoundcheck.com, which brings together thousands of people in countries throughout the world to help each other achieve technical excellence in their local churches.
He has decades of experience in audio as a recording and live sound engineer, educator and author. Curt contributed three chapters to Yamaha's Guide to Sound Systems for Worship, and has written numerous articles for several magazines. His most recent book, The Heart of Technical Excellence, was written to help pastors, worship leaders and tech support teams better understand each other.
